Wishing everyone a happy new year! We love ringing it in here--setting off firecrackers, seeing the fireworks light up the valley.Georg came for the festivities and we all watched "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" projected onto the wall. Michael was with his grandparents in Wegberg shooting off even fancier rockets than ours because Nick and Patrick weren't allowed to buy the firecrackers for 18 and up with
out me (I was in Frankfurt getting our dinner ingredients!).
Now the children are all home and eager to pick up our new family member, a cat, on Monday.
