Eppstein Scavenger Hunt

Chloé, our French exchange student, has to fill out all sorts of questionnaires about Eppstein. Today she had to find out how much a white roll costs in a German bakery and what its local name is. I learned something new--in Alt-Eppstein what I call a "Schnittbrötchen" in High German is called a "Schrippe"!

We took a photo outside the bakery, so she can remember that a boulangerie is a "Bäckerei." And I learned that a "Konditorei" is a patisserie.

Now she and Patrick are at a soccer field in Bremthal with the rest of the group.
