Hard to believe six weeks have passed since we arrived back in Germany and Georg invited us to our favorite restaurant--Chookdee Thai in Wiesbaden (0611-305840). In any case, lately I have been CRAVING that Thai food: the Thai iced tea with orchid and lime decorating the glass, the shrimp chips with sweet sauce, and the tender beef and green beans in a garlic oyster sauce. 
So today I carved a couple hours out of Michael's busy social life to drive us to Wiesbaden. The weather was gorgeous ("spielte mit"), so after savouring our Thai food, we did a little shopping (notebooks and highlighters for Nick, sports shoes for Michael). Patrick is with Georg this weekend.
What can I say? I love walking along while shopping and looking up and seeing a church like Wiesbaden's Marktkirche looking so impressive and historical:). On our way back to the car, we stopped by the park in front of the Staatstheater, and Mike climbed into the sculpture "Leben" ("Life") by France Rotar.
