Today Eppstein Castle had a special program with dancers, medieval actors, harp players, and tours. I thought, by golly, if we live in a town with a castle, we should take advantage of it. Picked up Michael from his overnight and squeezed in a visit.
We were both amazed by how heavy the knight's helmets were. The kids sitting on the walls of the ruins scared the living daylights out of me. Can you find Michael in the photo on the left?

ReplyDeleteMichael is sitting on the wall above the empty window. The knights' helmets were as heavy as heavy stones. I can't wait to take you to the castle when you visit. You can dress up in our knight costume and carry a wooden sword.
