Last week was the last week of Goethe University's semester break. It also seemed to be the last week that would allow for lunch dates. 
So on Monday I met up with my American friend Mary on campus. Her daughter, Anna, enjoyed riding in the university's pater nosters--open elevators that you can step on or step off at each floor.
Frankfurt had gorgeous blue skies all week, but now they have all clouded over and it's wet and gray. Time to get back in the classroom.
