She was British, married to Reinhold, and together they were always part of our family at celebratory events like Patrick's first communion or Michael's baptism day. They visited us in Twickenham, hosted us many times for coffee and cake, froze with us at Kronberg's Christmas Market. Whenever I see a poster for the English Theatre in Frankfurt, I'll think of her, and how she invited me to join her many times for an English night on the town. We had intense conversations at the Australian restaurant in Frankfurt, and glasses of champagne at places she knew about in the city center. She was so supportive of both Georg and me during the whole separation. We both always knew we had a friend and an ear in her. And now she is gone. We'll miss her so much. My heart goes out to Reinhold, who lost his darling far too early.
