Nick is #20. Unfortunately, he injured his knee in the first minute of the game in Diez (35 minutes away). Despite his injury, he did a good job with the "face-offs"--managed to send around 80% of the pucks in his team's direction--and scored a goal.
Our Eppstein teammate, Max, is #42. I'm so grateful Max's dad does the Wednesday night (10:15 p.m.) pickup, which gets Nick home around 11 p.m. On Sunday, Max's dad did the 6:15 a.m. pickup as well, so Patrick and I only had to drive up to the game at 7:15. Michael was glad to stay home with Grandma sleeping off her jet lag downstairs.
Patrick isn't playing ice hockey this winter because Monday's practice is during his school time, but how neat to have a videographer.
