On Sunday, Mom visited Sabine in Saarbrücken, and we met up with Allison's friend Carla, who is spending this year working in Wiesbaden.
The boys and I had been craving our Thai food, so we were eager to take Carla to our favorite Thai restaurant, Chookdee. For the first time ever, all tables were booked. After recovering from our disappointment (shock, really), we continued on to Brown Sugar, another Thai restaurant...only to find it had closed. Thank goodness we found Erawan, where I'd had Thai food with Yalie Bob Bonds a few years ago. On our trek in search of Thai food, we passed this "volcano" with steaming water coming from Wiesbaden's natural hot springs.
On the way back to the parking lot, we got a snapshot of us in front of Wiesbaden's casino and theatre to send to Allison.
