We celebrated Celine the Feline's first birthday on Sunday. My friend Sigrid (colleague from Andersen Consulting days) and her family joined us for coffee and cake. Her daughter, Shannon, born the same day as Nick, is in her last year of boarding school in England. 
So far Celine hasn't been hanging out in the hammock Georg got her for her birthday; she prefers the gold chair in my office. We all visit her there, and she keeps me company when I'm working at night (which has been a lot lately).
